Cummins EGR Performance Module We have developed a device to make Late 2003-2011 Cummins Diesel engines run smoother, while helping with fuel savings, along with an increase in responsive power. We have been testing this for eight months. Our product is called The Ugly fix™ It's built with high grade components and sealed for all weather conditions.
Easy installation, it installs in about 15 to 30 minutes. Eliminates surging, missing, coughing, black smoke, and you will notice instant throttle response. Engines will run cooler up to 20 degrees, have an increase in horse power, with lower vibration levels. Engine will now run as if Pre E G R. which allows a gain in fuel miles per gallon. Our product will work unlike other fixes out there.
We've gone beyond the fixes that have you remove 1/2 the engine components to do the same thing. Now, with the cost of fuel pricing going up since 1999 till present, it is a big expense, in many cases the biggest expense.

Now lets say the increase was 0.4 at 5.4 miles per gallon the savings would be ,704.00. = ,296.00 Yr. / 52 weeks = 121.07 weekly in the bank. As a business owner, the savings is a plus. Yes, if your asking, it does work. Flashing the ECM or The Ugly Fix Flashing the E C M. To flash the ECM is one way to achieve the same thing that the Ugly Fix does, except, once you flash the ECM, it's flashed, period, you can't go back. Unless you take it back to whom ever did the work and hope it can be set back, or have Cummins Diesel do it. (At a nice cost) If you're still thinking this is the way to go you're looking at 0 to 00. This is the cost of flashing. Here is another thing you need to look at. Do you have a good mechanic? Most major Cummins shops won't touch it after the ECM is cleared. The two major reasons are, 1) Only by the book, because, mechanics are no longer thinkers. 2) Liability, It's all about the liability. I really don't blame them because lawsuits are expensive. With that said, if your looking to get a lot more horse power out of your truck and you're a good mechanic, (or have one) then you can change the intake and turbo and set the ECM, and wow-wee you can get it all for about 5,000 plus DOLLARS. All that for a little over 100 horses.
The Ugly Fix is all about performance, period. Our chip works the same way the flashing does but, and there is always a but, when you install this chip and it talks to the computer, (it DOES NOT erase it), it sets the EGR to get maximum performance from your engine with out pushing it past its limitations. As intelligent business owners, as I'm sure you are, do you want to spend a lot or a little, to get the same effect? At today's prices I would think a little is the way to go. Need to take it to the shop? Unplug it, plug in the original chip and no one knows.
How our product will change your engine. Our product is an electronic chip that utilizes programs in the ECM to in fact stops the EGR function. Now, with our chip plugged into the system you will see a big difference in the engine performance. You will see it stops the Hesitation, Surging, Coughing, Black Smoke. The engine will have less vibration. there will be more responsive power for the fact the turbo lag goes away. The Horse power increase will be around 75. (which is lost through EGR). A 5 to 7 pounds of oil pressure increase & cleaner oil. No engine light will produced from our chip. Also see a MPG Increase in most cases because of the fact the hotter energy burn and having to use less peddle to get the same effect as before. Engine runs cooler up to 20 degrees because there is not hot EGR flow going back through the engine as before. More mileage between oil changes for the fact of cleaner oil. You will notice that when shifting the engine fall slower and it is easer to get it into gear. Engine runs as pre EGR. Fits on 2004 through 2011 trucks with Cummins ISX engines.
