S ZEN 1600 Nano Particle Size Analysis The Model MAL1600 provides the ability to measure two characteristics of particles or molecules in a liquid medium. These two fundamental parameters are Particle size and Molecular weight. The Zetasizer Nano S system determines the size by first measuring the Brownian motion of the particles in a sample using Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and then interpreting a size from this using established theories. The particle size ranges are 0.6 nm to 6 µm. The Zetasizer Nano S system determines the Molecular weight by using of Static Light Scattering (SLS) measurement techniques. The molecular weight ranges are 1000 to 2x107 Daltons. It has an increased temperature range of from 2 to 90 ºC. The concentration range of size measurement is 0.1 ppm (0.00001 vol%)-40 wt%. "
